Ishraq / Shurooq / Sunrise

Any chance sunrise time can change 15 minutes after rather than immediately? Practically in the masjid this works best. Showing next day's times is the better feature compared to times changing at midnight. But sunrise is different as those sitting in the masjid refer back to it 15 minutes later to pray their ishraq. On referring back to it they end up calculating the start of their ishraq based on the following days time which is a few minutes earlier causing them to pray ishraq in maqrooh time. If this is difficult, is there the possibility of allowing users to specify which times use the next day feature and which times change at midnight instead?

Night Blackout Mode

It would be helpful if we could have a feature that automatically blacks out the screen a few minutes after Ishaa and turns it back on a few minutes before Fajr.

Today's events on app widget

On the app widget, which everyone finds incredibly useful, it would be nice to be able to display which events are happening today in the masjid. So people get a single glance understanding of the day ahead.

This may include short duas, adhkar, Qur’anic verses, and authentic hadiths related to different aspects of Islamic life. It would be very beneficial if brief reminders are displayed or shared regarding: Important Islamic months and their virtues Significance of special Islamic days and nights Importance and rewards of fasting, including nawafil (voluntary) fasting Guidance on how to perform prayers correctly The proper method and virtues of wudhu Information and reminders about Hajj and Umrah The Sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in daily life Inspiring examples from the lives of the Sahaba (companions) Such reminders can help increase awareness, strengthen faith, and encourage more people—especially the youth—to learn and practice Islam in their daily lives. May Allah reward everyone involved in serving the masjid and guiding the community. Jazakumullahu Khairan.

Add date to Widget App

It would be very useful to add the date to the prayer widget app - this seems like a miss as its not clear what date the prayer times are for - this is a feedback from our users

Automatic Adhkars on display screens

It would be a great benefit to all masajid and a fantastic value-added feature to Masjidbox to have the morning and evening adhkars displayed at the appropriate times and pause all other screen activities. So from Fajr to Shuruq, the screens default to morning adhkars and between Asr and Maghrib they defauilt to evening adhkars. It would be perfect if they could be timed according to the timetable for each masjid in the same way that the “it’s time for salah” message pops up for a few minutes at each relevant salah time. As a potential donor, I want to access a dedicated page that displays all active donation campaigns in one place, So that I can easily compare causes and choose the specific campaign I want to support. Acceptance Criteria To consider this feature "Done," it must meet the following requirements: Centralized Display: A new "Campaigns" or "Donate" page must be accessible via the web and mobile navigation menus. Campaign Cards: Each campaign must be displayed with a title, a brief description, a compelling thumbnail image, and a "Donate Now" button. Real-time Updates: Users should only see "Active" campaigns; expired c ampaigns should be filtered out or marked accordingly. Responsive Design: The layout must be optimized for both desktop browsers and mobile app interfaces. Removal or Reduction of Masjidbox Watermark on Paid Plans

As a paying customer, we would like to request the ability to remove or significantly reduce Masjidbox watermarking across public-facing materials. While we understand the need for branding attribution, the current implementation places the Masjidbox watermark prominently and repeatedly across materials such as calendars and downloadable assets. For paid subscriptions, it would be reasonable to offer one of the following options: Full removal of watermarking A single “Powered by Masjidbox” attribution placed discreetly (e.g. footer only) Optional branding toggle for premium accounts Repeated branding on every page or asset can diminish the professional presentation of mosque materials. Providing a cleaner white-label or semi-white-label option for paying institutions would greatly enhance the perceived quality and ownership of distributed materials.

Hide Hijri date

May be for feedback in future releases As not every one is aware of Islamic dates In UK we have issue of Saudi dates and those that follow Morroco we follow this hence we are always showing a day in advance We need the ability to either switch off manually key in rather than playing with them bars as not always we set dates it’s only more common months ie the public is aware Ramadan etc

Change in Iqamah Timings

it would be beneficial to create a banner which pops up depdening on when a user wants it 2,3 or 4 days before the chamnge in iqamah timings especiall for fajar, zuhr , asr and isha. For example on wednesday it shows permanently somewhere on the screen that on friday iqamah will be changed for zuhr and asr.

Adding Gregorian Month Labels to Ramadan Calendar

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته For Ramadan 2026, the month spans across February and March, however the Gregorian month names are not currently referenced on the calendar. This may be confusing for users who are looking for specific dates, particularly those who rely primarily on the Gregorian calendar. Would it be possible to include Gregorian month labels (e.g. February / March) within the Ramadan calendar view? Even a simple month heading or divider would greatly improve usability and reduce confusion. Thank you for your continued efforts in supporting mosques and communities. Can’t View Masjid box screen in 270 degree orientation.

All other orientations are working except 270 degree. When put in 270 degree orientation then the tv goes to 0 degree

Announcements feature

Asslamualaikam, would like to request few things below if possible please: Can the announcements feature be included in free version, would be great thing to have as other competitors like Mawaqit there is no charge for similar features Can Adhan time alert timing be adjusted for screen to either at start time of prayer or for example 10 minutes before iqama? We tend to do adhan im masjid 10-15 minutes before iqama time. Jazak’Allah khair!
