Simplified & Customisable “Next Prayer” Display (Accessibility Mode)

The homepage “Next Prayer” display is visually clean, but it currently offers only one layout option. Some elderly members of our congregation find it difficult to interpret all of the elements displayed simultaneously.

It would be beneficial to allow administrators to customise or simplify this display.

For example, optional display modes such as:

A. Simplified Mode (Elder-Friendly View)

• Prayer name

• Iqamah time only (or Adhan time only – selectable)

• Large countdown timer

• Reduced secondary information

This would make it immediately clear when congregants need to leave home.

B. Iqamah-Focused Mode

Many attendees prioritise the Iqamah time rather than the Adhan. A toggle allowing:

• “Focus on Iqamah”

• Or “Focus on Adhan”

would improve clarity.

C. Large Text / High-Contrast Mode

• Larger font sizes

• Increased contrast

• Reduced interface clutter

D. Optional Information Toggles

Allow admins to toggle:

• Hijri date

• Gregorian date

• Countdown timer

• Ramadan countdown

• News preview

This would let mosques tailor the interface to their demographic.
