Many mosques rely on specialised third-party platforms to provide certain services such as bookings, accessibility tools, and registrations.
It would be extremely helpful if pages within Masjidbox could support embedding external web content (for example via webview or iframe).
This would allow mosques to integrate third-party tools directly into the Masjidbox app while keeping the app as the central hub for community services.
For example:
• embedding a booking system such as SimplyBook.me for funeral services, nikah bookings, or hall hire
• embedding a live translation feed from Baian.ai so users can follow khutbah translations inside the app
• embedding external registration systems or educational platforms
Currently mosques often have to send users to external websites or QR codes to access these services. Allowing external embeds would make the experience much more seamless and keep users within the mosque app.
Benefits include:
• reducing administrative workload
• improving accessibility for multilingual communities
• allowing mosques to extend functionality without needing new built-in features
• making Masjidbox more flexible for mosques with growing digital infrastructure
